Shawmut Design and Construction is looking for a qualified and motivated Marketing Coordinator to support our Retail Division for our New York City office. The role requires working directly with the business development and operations staff. Responsibilities include preparing portfolio books, responses for requests for qualifications and proposals, writing press releases and project sheets, maintaining databases, assembling award submissions, and coordinating photo shoots. Candidate must have 3 to 5 years writing experience and experience in a sales, sales support, client development or project team role.
Candidate must also have strong administrative skills and understand administrative support is an essential piece of this position. These responsibilities include providing all administrative support, including organization, tracking, coordination, calendar management and travel to business development staff.
Candidate must also be able to interact with many different people at all levels, and be a solid team player. Proven ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously with a high sense of urgency and attention to detail is a must have.
Must have a strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite with a mastery of Outlook, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, PowerPoint and SalesLogix or other client/account management software.
