New York consulting firm specializing in the design and planning of performing arts projects is seeking a full time Marketing Professional. Our 15 person firm serves an impressive roster of architects and owners throughout the US and abroad.
Business Development responsibilities include:

Finding and tracking business prospects, working with our established network of collaborators and proactively seeking new business in the US and overseas.

Responding quickly and thoroughly to architects’ and potential clients’ requests for qualifications information and proposal responses.

Writing, designing and maintaining promotional materials such as company literature, designer bios, project information sheets, and conference hand-outs,

Maintaining our library of marketing materials, standard government forms and other frequently issued submittal documents in a variety of electronic formats.

Creating and maintaining relationships with associated professional service organizations and negotiating sponsorship opportunities.
Public Relations responsibilities include:

Writing and editing press releases, awards submissions and website copy.

Preparing advertisements for multiple publications.
-
Researching and contacting press/media contacts regarding our projects and upcoming openings.
Previous business development experience in the design profession along with excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and verbal communications skills are required. Applicant must be able to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work both collaboratively and independently.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required. Working knowledge of InDesign, and Photoshop, or equivalent programs is valuable.
Foreign language proficiency is a plus, as is a background in the performing arts.
Salary is negotiable depending on the applicant’s experience.
