Award-Winning, Full-Day, Professional Development Seminar

 

 

Our fourth annual THE Marketing Event (on November 7) was a huge success!

 

More than 160 marketing professionals – some from as far away as California – in the architectural, engineering, and construction industries attended our award-winning, highly anticipated full-day professional development seminar, at the American Conference Center in midtown Manhattan.

 

The event offered sessions by industry experts on a wide variety of topics, including: strategies for persuasive communications; marketing for the next generation; how to think like your clients and your competition; and “recession-proofing” our jobs.

 

Lauren Hlavenka, Assoc. AIA, Marketing Director of Handel Architects, and president of SMPS-NY, organized the symposium.

 

“This year’s event was our best yet, drawing attendees from as far as California, with many coming from Washington D.C., Boston and Connecticut,” says Lauren. “It was a great day of learning from top industry experts and networking with peers, and I’m very excited at the increasing geographic reach of this program. I already look forward to planning THE Marketing Event 2009!”
